Performance & Capability
Under the hood, the 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring is powered by a SKYACTIV-G 2.5L I-4 direct injection DOHC engine with cylinder deactivation producing 187HP. Paired with a responsive SKYACTIV-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission, this crossover achieves an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 24 city and 30 highway MPG using regular unleaded fuel. The i-ACTIV AWD automatic full-time AWD system continuously monitors road conditions to deliver optimal traction, while driver selectable drivetrain modes let you adjust performance characteristics on demand. A four-wheel independent suspension featuring front struts and a multi-link rear setup delivers precise handling and composure. Highlights include 19 x 7-inch silver aluminum alloy wheels, a 4.624 axle ratio, and a dual exhaust system with chrome finishers.
Technology & Connectivity
Inside the driver-centric cabin, the CX-5 Grand Touring is packed with modern infotainment features. The MAZDA CONNECT™ system anchors the dashboard with a 7-inch touchscreen display and integrated voice-activated navigation. Seamless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allows effortless access to streaming media, calls, and messaging. Audio is delivered through a Bose 10-speaker sound system equipped with Centerpoint 2 digital signal processing. To keep your focus on the road, the Active Driving Display projects critical driving data directly onto the windshield, complemented by Mazda Radar Cruise Control, Advanced Smart City Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Lane Keep Assist.
